Andalay AC is different than ordinary solar energy systems with it's integrated design. Protected wiring as well as superior framing and grounding increase performance and simplify installation.
Each Andalay AC panel comes with an integrated Enphase Microinverter - a small device that converts DC output from a single solar panel into grid-compliant AC power. The result is less wiring, superior efficiency and greater reliability. Andalay AC with Enphase Microinverters perform 5 - 25% better than ordinary panels.
With ordinary solar photovoltaic systems when one panel fails or is shaded the other panels connected to it lose significant efficiency. Microinverter technology ensures that there is no single point of system failure so your system operates at maximum efficiency. Better yet with an Andalay AC system you don't have to worry about dangerous 600 volt DC wiring.
